Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) Academy is one of the oldest, largest, and most prestigious schools in the United Arab Emirates. It is a not for-profit, non-selective, coeducational school for students from Pre-KG to Grade 12 located in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. It was originally founded in 1975 to provide education for the children of British expatriates in the Emirate. Since 1988, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, the school has evolved to cater for students of all nationalities and abilities. Today RAK Academy welcomes over 3,200 students from 97 different nationalities. RAK Academy consists of five campuses situated across the Emirate, offering a British-style curriculum for primary age students, an international primary curriculum (IBPYP), as well as an international secondary curriculum (IGCSE, A/S Levels and IB Diploma).
